A Technical, Management and Literary festival 2016 was organised by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow for which Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering And Technology, Bareilly was entrusted with the responsibility of organising the event at Zonal level on 25th and 26th February 2016.
During these two days, there were total of 10 Technical events which included Circuit Design, Algo Designing, Designing using AUTOCAD, Line follower & Maze solving, Manual Robotics , Business Plan, Ad making, Hindi Debate, English Debate and Entertainment Quiz.In the aforesaid events hundreds of students from more than 40 colleges over 4 districts namely Bareilly, Moradabad, Sitapur and Shikohabad showed their talent.
The events were started with inauguration by our esteemed Executive chairperson Mrs Veena Mathur along with the blessings of our Managing Director Er. Naveen Prasad Mathur and Director RBMI Dr. Neeraj Saxena.
Out of 10 events there were six events successfully conducted on the first day in which students showed their talent in circuit designing , Line follower & Maze solver, Designing using AUTOCADD, Business Plan, Hindi Debate and English Debate. In the event of Circuit Designing many students made efficient and accurate circuits which were highly appreciated and on the other hand in Maze Solving event robots were made who could automatically follow the path.
Students also designed the mechanical parts using the designing software Autocadd and showed their perfect strategy in the event of Business Plan also. The students showed their complete confidence in Hindi and English Debates. The Day one was concluded with the Prize distribution ceremony by our Chief Guest Mr. KP Johri and Honourable Directors Dr. Vineet Agarwal, Dr. Ashish Mishra and Dr. Rajesh Verma in which the top 3 Rank Holders from all the events were awarded.
On the second day the students from various institutions again participated with the same spark. In Algorithm design students showed their talent by solving the problems with the help of computers. In the event of Ad making various attractive ADs were made and in Entertainment Quiz there was quiz of various interesting general questions. Among all these events the centre of attraction of the day was Manual Robotics event in which the spectators witnessed the race between the robots. In the evening this sparkling event was finally concluded with the prize distribution ceremony by our Executive Chairperson Mrs. Veena Mathur and Er. Naveen Prasad Mathur followed by the vote of thanks by our Honourable Directors Dr. Neeraj Saxena (Director RBGI), Dr. Rajesh Verma (Director RBMI), Dr. Vineet Agrawal (Director RBCET), Dr. Ashish Mishra (DSW) and Zonal Head Co-ordinator Er. The theme of the event was introduced by Dr. Neeraj Saxena, Director of RBMI attempted to capture the emerging HR trends and practices in today’s globalized world. This was followed by felicitation of dignitaries on the dias by our Executive Chairperson Mrs. Veena Mathur gave welcome address and also introduced the concept and idea being organizing the seminar. She also thanked guest speakers for accepting request to join at the event and willingness to share their experience with the students. She believes that happy and satisfied employee can bring change in any organization which is necessary for the growth of any organization.
Managing Director of RBMI, Er. Navin Prasad Mathur had shared the pearls of wisdom gained through his rich experience according to him, the aim of organizing this event would prove helpful for the students in getting the employment opportunities.
The first guest speaker Shri S.K. Sinha, General Manger of Delhi Metro suggested students to fully devoted to their work according to him, in corporate world employees are looking for those who have the ability to satisfied the needs of Corporate sector followed by this he also added the role of HR in corporate world.
Shri MM Singh, DGM of Hero Moto Corp, Gurgaon said that to work in any organization one should be devotional to their work then, only one can fulfill the expectations of their family or country. In addition to this he also said that besides syllabus knowledge practical knowledge is most important for the youth.
Shri R.P. Singh General Manager of V Guard Industries spoke about the proper functioning of any organization depends upon the good communication skills. Further he added employer too take care of his employees. One cannot judge or compare Human behavior with machines, as it can vary according to the situations.
Mr. Ali Mustafa, Head of HCL said that besides getting syllabus knowledge one should inculcate humanity & moral values in oneself. The biggest challenge for any organization is to make strategy for retaining talent pool according to him retaining talented HR is the key to success in the today’s competitive world. Shri Digvijay Kappor, askme.com suggested to improve language skills and communication skills with the help of reading newspaper and different mediums of mass communication. Further, he added that organization have to focus on the rewards and recognition management to discuss various policies & practices adopted by HR heads.

On August 28, 2015, a Kite Competition was held in the premises of RBMI Group of Institutions. Students from different departments participated in the competition. Theme for the competition was Smart City. Student made various colorful kites explaining about the concept of Smart City.

A five day detailed workshop based on "Electronic Component, PCB layout Fabrication & Testing", was organized in Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering & Technology, by EC & EN department in collaboration with NITTTR, Chandigarh via video conferencing.
Experts from NITTTR, Chandigarh taught students, the software based designing & Testng of a PCB. The entire workshop was coordinated by Dr. Anil Kumar(expert from NITTTR, Chandigarh). A completely fruitful session for the students of B.Tech. Detailed working based on software and hardware concepts were explained to the students.
